ICL Techno LLC, together with Microsoft and Schneider Electric, held the first Partner Conference in the new office of the Technopark in Innopolis Laishevo SEZ. Partner companies from 20 Russia’s cities took part in it. At the Conference, information about ICL product line: servers, CPUs, laptops, tablets, thin clients, all-in-ones, info kiosks, payment terminals, data storage systems, and micro data center — was presented to the participants. The audience was especially interested in solutions for education and healthcare, as well as in new products from LEGO Education. In early 2018, ICL Techno was awarded the status of LEGO Education official distributor. The participants of the Conference summed up their cooperation in 2017 and shaped the development path for the next years. Partners with the best last year results were awarded diplomas.
A demonstration zone was also made available for the participants where they could see and test the products and ask questions. In the course of the plant tour, everyone could visually examine the process chain of line assembly beginning from assembly itself up to testing and packing of finished products.
Within the Conference, Microsoft representatives held a master class in the area of virtual reality (VR) using ICL hardware based on Windows mixed reality (part of Windows 10). Using Microsoft HoloLens (mixed reality glasses), the guests managed to “visit” the bosom of the sea watching its inhabitants and to “go” alpine skiing.
