Microsoft Vice President and Microsoft Russia President Pay an Official Visit to ICL-KME CS

Vice President of Microsoft for Central and Eastern Europe Vahe Torossian and Microsoft Russia President Nikolay Pryanishnikov paid an official visit to ICL-KME CS.

The goal of the visit was joint business development planning in the Volga (Privolzhsky) Federal District and identifying market expansion opportunities within the Russian Federation.

Mr. Vahe Torossian noted that ICL-KME CS is Microsoft’s long-time business partner that keeps enhancing its competencies in MS key technology areas, and this partner relationship has a great value for the corporation. The inter-company partnership lasts more than ten years and gained the high reputation.

ICL-KME CS managed to double sales and implementation of Microsoft solutions for the last year and both companies are interested to create the joint strategy which will help them proceed in business.

ICL-KME CS and Microsoft management discussed the issues of the new territories exploration — the Urals Federal District and the Southern Federal District. These regions look very winning to both companies in terms of market expansion and joint business development.

Besides, ICL-KME CS and Microsoft negotiated the development of a new business area — SaaS («Software as a Service») — application hosting services. Both companies are planning to do their best and they hope to market these new services in the Volga Federal District in the nearest future. The companies are planning to proceed with MS Windows7, Office 2010 localization.

Microsoft representatives proved their interest in the joint project with ICL-KME CS to set up the Microsoft Technology Center that provides access to innovative solutions and world class expertise to anyone who desires it.

The meeting between Microsoft and ICL-KME CS management may be considered as fruitful, and both companies decided to fuel their activities to fulfill the appropriate verbal agreements. In the nearest future Microsoft will participate as a Platinum Sponsor in the annual IT & Security Forum 2010 held May 27th—28th, and showcase its innovative technologies.

It should be noted that ICL-KME CS is Microsoft Gold Partner and has a wide range of competencies within the said status and successfully promotes Microsoft products via Enterprise Agreement licensing as an i-LAR.
“According to Microsoft estimates, ICL-KME CS is the biggest strategic partner in the Volga region and this partnership provides sound financial results for both companies,” commented Nikolay Pryanishnikov, Microsoft Russia President.
