The 6th international dedicated conference & expo, Infosecurity Russia 2009, carried the work to completion in Moscow, Oct. 1st; it was recognised as Russia’s most important IT security event of the year.
ICL-KME CS traditionally takes part in this event. This year, ICL-KME CS’s participation has been especially multifold. The daily presentations supported by Oracle, Check Point, Websense and Netwell showcased various solutions helping build a secure information system environment.

ICL-KME CS’s showcase included our own developments, built using advanced information security technologies. The specialists demonstrated the Access Management Solution based on Oracle Identity Manager which provides user identification data management. This solution is certified by FSTEC of Russia and complies with the basic information security standard requirements in Russia.
«The one-time authentication and centralised access rights management is one of the key ways to enhance administration efficiency as well as the efficiency of the information protection system as a whole», said Ivan Shashurov, head of information security department, System Technologies Centre. Due to the relevance of this issue, several presentations were devoted to Oracle solutions as they comply with the Personal Data Law.
ICL-KME CS’ partner Check Point Software Technologies demonstrated Check Point VPN-1 VE products securing virtual environments. Check Point VPN-1 VE solution provides the highest level of virtual environment protection, operability, and high performance. Securing virtual environments becomes more acute because virtualization is onwards and upwards as it helps companies cut their IT costs.
Netwell’s presentation was devoted to Imperva solutions aimed to protect web applications and database management systems (DBMS). The DBMS and web application protection becomes a key issue as a consequence of data digital format transition. The effectiveness of these solutions is proved by many biggest world companies, both private and public.
ICL-KME CS’s participation in Infosecurity Russia is hard to exaggerate. This event is not only a platform where IT specialists may have a chance to get acquainted with new technologies and tendencies in information security, but a venue where participants can present their newest solutions and services.
