IT STRATEGY 2014
On May 28, 2014 the company «ICL Services» on behalf of its director Sergey Solov’ev took part in the conference «IT Strategy 2014» organized by CNews Conferences and CNews Analytics. The participants discussed about the importance of long-term planning of IT company development sector, as well as about the issues of corporate IT strategy. According to experts the goal of well-written strategy is to help the company to achieve the objectives better and to cover weak points of any business.
The discussion showed that the question of what the IT strategy is and how it should be applied in practice is widely discussed. Experts admit that today the business and IT department have realized the importance of dialogue. Top managers learn to speak with the IT professionals using technological terms, while IT departments, in turn, seek to adjust a particular hardware or software by using business language. But this is a theory.
The event was attended by representatives of the Russian IT market, the public sector, business and IT leaders from various Russian companies, system integrators.
