“The growth of production volume and headcount amid the global financial crisis shows the stable and financially sound position of ICL-KME CS on the market,” says Victor Diachkov, General Director, ICL-KME CS. “A number of factors determine our effectiveness. The first is diversification of technologies we work with and market segments we operate in. We started focusing on diverse business areas and customers from different sectors of economy 18 years ago. Today we work with Gazprom, banks, government bodies, manufacturing enterprises and mid-sized businesses. The second success factor is high competence of our experts. And the third one is the long-term goals and strategies available.”

Providing outsourcing and technical support services to Fujitsu’s clients worldwide, Global Delivery Centre showed the highest growth of 57 percent among the company’s business units. The Centre’s revenue exceeded 180 million rubles, which makes over 9 percent of the total sales volume. The joint contract of Global Delivery Centre and Fujitsu Sweden stipulating 40 specialists from ICL-КME CS to deliver infrastructure management services to Volvo Car Corporation was one of the major projects last year.

System Technologies Centre also continued to show dynamic development — growth of 25 percent. The major projects implemented in 2009 include creating personal data protection systems in Svyazinvest Group, implementation of Mobile Office — remote access solution for Gazprombank users and backup system upgrade in Ak Bars Bank.

In the course of the year ICL-KME CS provided IT training for departments of computer science of Kazan State University and Kazan State Technical University (KAI). Thus more than 30 faculty members of these universities upgraded their skills at ICL-KME CS Training Centre in 2009.
