IT & Security Forum 2010: Dialog Between IT Vendors and Customers
IT & Security Forum 2010, the 4th Multivendor Conference devoted to Information Technologies and Information Security, is over.
230 participants who took part in the event represented 150 enterprises from all over Russia specializing in different business areas: oil and gas, fuel and power, telecommunications and finance, industrial engineering and retail, as well as regional government authorities. 80% of the participants were heads of IT-Security divisions and Chief Information Officers. The world and Russia biggest software/hardware vendors took part in the event: Microsoft, Citrix, Symantec, HP, АРС, Aladdin, TANDBERG, Websense, ORACLE, VMware, EMC, CJSC Kaspersky Lab, Check Point, StoneSoft, Cisco, Positive Technologies, Juniper, AMP, Crossbeam, Imperva. OJSC ICL-KME CS, one of the biggest IT companies in Russia, and Computer Systems (OOO NPO VS) acted as the event organizers.
“We are gratified to keep this annual tradition,” noted Victor Diachkov, ICL-KME CS General Director in his opening speech. “One of this significant event’s missions is to implant modern IT perception into enterprise business. That is why the Forum calls together all the leading software and IT hardware vendors, both overseas and Russian. This year’s agenda reveals the wide range of modern technologies to make enterprise activity more effective and efficient”.

At the Conference Opening Ceremony ICL-KME CS was honored by HP—its partner and the Silver Sponsor of the Conference. ICL-KME CS was awarded the status of HP Silver Partner in the Republic of Tatarstan.
More than 50 representatives of IT companies shared their knowledge and expertise on innovation and modern IT technologies to enhance enterprise effectiveness and to make business more secure. The discussion on personal data protection, presented by Alexey Sabanov (Aladdin) and Alexey Lukatsky (Cisco), experts in Information Security, caused great interest of the participants as well as the banking section held under the auspices of ABISS.
A big demo-zone was at the Forum’s disposal, and more than 30 solutions in the field of IT and Information Security were displayed there.
